EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN - is a project that works toward promoting communities access education for development in order to alleviate ignorance, poverty and poor health

hope for child foundation believes that education is a key to long lasting and sustainable development, therefore

we believe that children should have access to education as it is a fundamental human right that can have a dramatic impact on their future,

much of our works revolves around ensuring children have access to education as well as making sure they are aware of their basic human rights, whether a child is street involved, disabled or disadvantaged they deserve a chance to go to school there fore education is a theme in every region in Tanzania we work in.

What is the project doing.?

• Increasing resources to improve the physical infrastructure of schools to ensure children attend, stay in school and learn.                                   

• improving the quality of education through providing training's to teachers in curriculum delivery and gender.

• training and supporting communities in developing and implementing action plans to address barriers to education including formation of clubs and other activities to connect out school children with educational opportunities and support girls to succeed in school

• providing children with items they are lacking that will enable them to stay in school and improve learning, such as uniform, stationary, solar lamps and sanitary pads.

• targeting the wider community through awareness, raising activities, involving workshops with leaders, and collaboration with headteachers and teachers of 100 schools

• reducing social culture barriers to girls education through community mobilization and radio programs
